Edit: Added in 1.1 Talents as well. All other patches will be added eventually.

Have fun comparing the changes from beginning to end:DDDD Calculator is @ In coordination with the original developer of MaNGOS from 2005 (The source of all modern day private servers)!! As well as others, we have brought forth reliable Classic WoW Talent Calculator for the community.

This Talent Calculator will be updated with all patches of Vanilla/Classic Wow, and any furture changes Blizzard makes. In addition to the Talent Calculator we plan to release several more needed resources for the player-base such as a 1.12 database derived from the client mpq files. We realize there are existing private server databases that get tossed around; however what we will bring the table is fresh content with a more modern approach using the Symfony PHP Framework instead of outdated Smarty/Tpl templating code. In addition to that, if anyone in the community has any requests for web resources/database resources that would help the player-base for classic wow, our WoWStack team would love to meet those needs. 06:49 PMPosted by I just use Fair enough, but if Blizzard uses a pre-patch or changes talents further, that site will outdated.

Wow Classic Talent Trees

It's for a private 1.12.1 server. We have all the patch talent data on hand from 1.1 - 1.12 that can be added easily. Edit: Some of their talents are wrong.

Example: Serrated Blades. Also, their active talents don't show ability cooldown or range. Their template is from an open source clone of WoWHead for private servers. As someone who has played around with the AoWoW Engine, I think that calculator will remain at 1.12.1 forever. 07:28 PMPosted by I thought the article said 1.12, not 1.12.1 1.12 is talking is often loosely used to reference a patch cycle era. Its kinda vague, they may or may not include features from that group, they may go only with the talents, use some of the earlier spells, its hard to say where they will actually go with that right now.

Its my observation that the 1.12 series talents are the most popular feature, and why they would go for that core. They said 1.12 is the foundation.

Everyone is unsure of what this means. I added the 1.1 talents to the site. I think it is the only modern/working 1.1 talent site out there at the moment. It serves as a good resource for comparison and/or discussion. 07:56 PMPosted by Thank you for your work. It looks great.

I do hope you guys end up adding the rest of the Vanilla patches if not just for the history of these talent trees (since wowprovider ceased to exist a couple years ago). We have all the patch data, and plan to release all of the talent data/changes patch by patch. As well as pick up from wherever Classic WoW starts from and track those changes as well. Thanks for your kind words. Edit: This site & The database we are building as well will not go down like WP did.

Our core project is for preserving/tracking old WoW data and Classic's announcement lined up with our project. 07:44 PMPosted.

It serves as a good resource for comparison and/or discussion. I was just playing around on that early wow calc, I had forgotten a few things, and that brought me back to why I had a few abilities bound in screen shots that I genuinely could not work out as to why they were there in that order. It all made sense after seeing the early calc. Thanks a million for posting that up!

Do you have a working table of spell damage coefficients that are truly accurate? I have some stuff, but its 100% based on testing from Vanilla not published blizzard numbers. 07:51 PMPosted.
